Paul Mathieson
Head Squash Professional & Director of Dover Squash and Fitness

Our head squash professional Paul Mathieson, from the United Kingdom, has extensive experience in coaching and playing squash.
As a professional player and a National Team player, Paul has traveled six continents around the world playing tournaments like the World Team Championships, and is a winner of multiple National Championships. A graduate of the Wycliffe School/Wycliffe Squash Academy and the University of Birmingham, two premier British academic institutions, Paul has personally demonstrated his commitment to both the academic and athletic aspects of the sport. While attending these institutions, Paul helped his team win several national championships and was selected to play for his country in the 2003 World Team Championships, as well as the European Team Championships.
As a coach, Paul has worked for thirteen years and has trained players of all ages and skill levels. As a highly certified coach with a degree in sport and physical education from the University of Birmingham, Paul has used his academic training as well as his experiential learning as a world ranked player to transform junior players into collegiate players, and many into state and national champions.
Arshad Iqbal Burki
Squash Professional
Arshad is a professional squash player from Pakistan representing the legacy of the Khans. Arshad was the junior champion of Pakistan and reached the world ranking of 52. He has represented his country in all major worldwide tournaments and has seven years of coaching experience in developing, training and coaching juniors and adults.

Belkys M. Velez
Squash Professional
Belkys is the former head coach of the women’s squash team of Tufts University. She also coached at Newton Country Day School and assisted the squash team at Northeastern University. She is a professional squash player from Ecuador and has represented the National team in major tournaments across the world. She has been number one for her country for ten years and has reached a world ranking of 84. Belkys has ten years of coaching experience with juniors, adults and collegiate players.
